WORLD'S LARGEST RAMMER
INTRODUCING THE 34” HAMMERHEAD RAMMER
Large diameter casing installations aren’t all that new. However, with the ever expanding acceptance of trenchless methods, there is increasing demand for rammers that can handle larger diameter and /or longer distance installations.
Unrivaled in size, unequaled in impact, and unmatched in power, the new 34” HammerHead rammer provides the muscle needed to go the distance on today’s toughest pipe ramming projects.
The 34” Hammer can install steel casings 48” dia. to as large as 180” diameter for use in drainage culverts, pipeline work, HDD assist methods such as; washover casing installations, pipe assist or pipe extraction and guided pilot bore ramming.
Although designed specifically for pipe ramming projects, the new 34” hammer can also be adapted for pipe bursting projects for the installation of 36” pipe and larger.*
HammerHead pneumatic pipe ramming hammers lead the industry in reliability and easy maintenance. These hammers are designed to handle the toughest ramming projects with ease and exceptional performance, with features you won’t find on competitive models.
Patented air reverse
The patented and reliable air reverse is controlled above ground, simplifying tool removal from the pushing collets.
Clamped rear anvil
The clamped rear anvil is the hallmark of the HammerHead piercing tool and rammer design. This feature provides up to 200 percent more clamp load than competitive models and is the most secure assembly on the market.
The one-piece striker contains a set of wear rings that eliminate metal-to-metal contact, providing a sustained level of performance.
A variety of accessories are already available, adapter cones, collets and additional support tools are developed to support project 48” through 180”.
*Custom built tooling for pipe bursting or pipe ramming may be required to match up with individual project specifications. HammerHead is able to provide custom built accessories upon request.
