Past Updates

Update Published 3/26/2020:

As the COVID-19 situation progresses, we recognize that this is a difficult time for all of us and we are committed to ensuring the continued safety and welfare of our workforce, our customers and our communities. While “stay-at-home” and “shelter in place” directives being issued by various governmental bodies generally require people to remain at home and businesses to close, there are certain vital functions that must continue.  Thus, the relevant federal, state and local authorities permit and encourage “essential” businesses to remain in operation.

As a manufacturer of equipment, and provider of parts, service, and materials that are used in building, maintaining and repairing critical sectors of our nation’s infrastructure, HammerHead is classified as an “essential” business. Accordingly, our facilities will remain open as we do our part to support our customers, many of which are also deemed “essential” for the same reason: servicing critical infrastructure.

CISA Guidance on Essential Workers

Over the coming days and weeks, it is imperative that each of us to keep health officials’ guidance in mind as we approach how we work and interact with others in the communities we serve. It is important to understand the CDC’s messages around recognizing symptoms of the virus and identifying circumstances that may put you or an employee at risk of exposure, while also recognizing those behaviors or scenarios that do not present concern.

A Message to our Valued Customers:

Published 3/21/2020

Dear HammerHead Trenchless customers,

As we closely monitor the rapidly changing COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) situation, the safety and well-being of our employees and business partners around the world continues to be our top priority. We are working hard to maintain business continuity and minimize disruptions for you, our valued customers.

As part of our commitment to our customers, we're taking steps to keep HammerHead employees healthy, reduce the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus and ensure our ability to provide you with the products and services you need to continue your own business operations. Below are some of the actions we are taking in response to COVID-19:

  • Our manufacturing, distribution, technical support, and sales teams are continuing to operate, and we have contingency plans in place should our teams need to work from home. Employees whose roles allow them to work remotely are doing so for the time being.
  • For the safety of our employees and potential guests, we are limiting visitor access to our facility. Meetings, in-person trainings, tours and industry-related events at our facility are currently being postponed until later notice.
  • All business travel is prohibited for all HammerHead employees until further notice.

While our team is currently unable to assist you onsite, our customer service, technical support, and parts & service teams are still available to provide support through other communication channels. If you need assistance, we encourage you to contact us as you normally would; reach out directly to your HammerHead regional sales representative or contact the HammerHead factory at 800-331-6653.

As the situation progresses, we will strive to be responsive and flexible, and we will provide updates as required communicating any pertinent information that may affect our ability to serve you. Thank you for being a HammerHead customer and please let us know if you have any questions or if there is anything we can do to further support you as we collectively navigate this unusual time.
